Our beloved big boy crossed the Rainbow Bridge this past Saturday, at the ripe old age of 14.  Nuggett was a gentle and loving spirit who made friends with everyone he met.  He was particularly attached to his mom, whom he would follow around the house between naps and fishing for toys.  We will miss our twice-daily walks, his enthusiastic encouragement (pawing us) to keep petting him while we watched TV, and his hugs.  He adopted and took care of us in many ways with his friendly focus.  We have no idea how he became a stray as a senior golden – but are thankful for the four plus years we spent together.  To a wonderful and caring companion – we love and miss you buddy.
