We are weeks away from the 2024 GRRAND Affair: paw-sibilities Healing Bodies & Souls Live & Silent Auction! Hopefully you’ve purchased your tickets because we have a lot in store for you at this year’s event. Also keep in mind that the current ticket price will go from $75 to $100 after October 15!

Overview of this year’s event: Enjoy the atmosphere with your dog loving friends as you take in the live music, full cash bar, complimentary house wine and beer, catered dinner, silent auction, live auction, raffles, and more! 

We chose “GRRAND Paw-sibilities – Healing Bodies and Souls” for our theme this year to highlight some heartwarming stories about the many dogs who have been physically and emotionally transformed and placed into loving homes. Your donations allow us to take that additional financial step to provide medical treatment and behavioral modification training to overcome the fear of mistreatment and isolation that these dogs have experienced in their previous lives.  Thank you!

What you need to know: 

• The event attire is business casual.
• Bring cash and a credit card to participate in all the event opportunities.
• Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m.

Our GRRAND Dog Ambassadors As always, our GRRAND Ambassador Dogs will be there to welcome you at 6:00 p.m., as you peruse the silent auction tables and bid on unique items of interest!

 What’s New for the Silent Auction

Preview, bid, or purchase silent auction items before November 15th.  The online silent auction will open on November 8th at 6:00 p.m.  We will publish the link in early November.  At the live event on November 15th, compete with your GRRAND friends to win distinctive silent auction baskets, gift certificates, and individual items. 

Visit our new “Experience Table” in the silent auction to find exhilarating opportunities such as: 

• VIP tour for eight at Buffalo Trace including tastings with Master Distiller, Brian Prewitt in a private tasting room 
• Hot Air Balloon Ride for two
• Six tickets for a class to teach you and your friends about the art of mixing cocktails at the Liquor Lab … and more…
• Visit the “High-End Table” featuring:
• An in-home chef’s table dinner for eight
• A one-night stay at the downtown Omni hotel with limousine service to and from Volare restaurant for dinner
• A heated, fully equipped igloo rooftop dining experience for six or eight at Shires’ Rooftop in downtown Cincinnati … and more

Raffles For Everyone

We’ve added a few raffles this year so check it out.

• Bourbon Raffles – Buy raffle tickets for five highly sought after, hard to find, bourbons from Buffalo Trace Distillery. Each bottle will be raffled separately. Tickets must be purchased with cash and are $1.00 each.  The drawing will be just prior to the presentations and live auction. You must be present to win these great bourbons. 
• $2500 Republic Bank Raffle – Purchase tickets to win $2500! Tickets may be purchased through BidPal prior to and at the event for $25 per ticket. You do not need to be present to win. 
• 50/50 Split Poo Bah Cash Raffle – Purchase raffle opportunities at the event on November 15th. Bring cash to purchase the $10 tickets.  The winning ticket will be announced during the live auction presentation and you must be present to win.

• One-week luxury, beachfront condominium stay for six in Naples, Florida 
• Two-night dog friendly Whiskey Row experience bundle at Hotel Distil 
• In-home Italian cooking class for eight  Rare signed, Pappy Van Winkle package paired with a box of Montecristo White Series #2 Cigars 
• Secretariat winning ticket package including a signed print, a 50th anniversary Churchill Downs bottle of Woodford reserve signed by Master Distiller, Elizabeth McCall, a Churchill Downs Box (with Derby week restrictions), a USPS commemorative Secretariat stamp, and a 1973 Derby glass.

Surprise auction item that will be near and dear to everyone’s heart.
