We wanted to let you know that Mattie (Matsumi) passed away on August 25th. She was 15 years old and a loving part of our family for 11 years.   She began each day with enthusiasm and wonder, and always wanted to be wherever we were.  She was a gentle soul who treated everyone as a friend.  The front porch was one of her favorite spots because she loved watching the activity in our neighborhood. We were so lucky to have shared our lives with her and miss her very much. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to love and care for this beautiful girl. Bill and Barb Patterson
