In March of 2018, we opened our hearts and home to two wonderful dogs, Coco and her bonded brother, Chief. From that moment, Coco brought endless joy and love into our lives. With her sweet, gentle nature, she quickly became a beloved part of our family.
It is with a heavy heart that we share Coco’s passing on Monday, October 21. Last year, she bravely faced a large mast cell tumor on her chest and endured chemo like a champ, returning to her spirited and affectionate self. But earlier this month, we learned her cancer had returned, this time in her lymph nodes. We started her on a chemo pill, hoping for more time, but sadly, her body was unable to handle the treatment, and she began bleeding internally.
Coco was, without question, the sweetest soul, always ready with a nuzzle and an eager tail wag. She filled our lives with warmth, joy, and laughter. We miss her deeply and hold onto the countless happy memories she gave us.
Thank you, Coco, for everything. You’ll always be in our hearts.
With love,
Anna and Ron Piontek
