Maisie, a cherished puppy, has been diagnosed with an inoperable vascular liver shunt. Despite her condition being untreatable, Maisie’s spirit remains unbroken. The doctors at Purdue have given her a prognosis of a year or less. Now, Maisie is living out her days as a hospice puppy in a loving permanent foster home, where she is adored by her foster parents and dog siblings.
Despite her condition, Maisie still enjoys running around and playing in the yard. To support her liver health, she is on a special high-carbohydrate diet, and her foster family has likely bought out the stock of sweet potatoes from all the surrounding grocery stores!
GRRAND is committed to caring for Maisie until she passes. Can you help provide for Maisie’s medical care and ensure she continues to enjoy her remaining time with us?
