Communications Coordinator

Emily first joined GRRAND as a volunteer on the newsletter team, but quickly became interested in taking on more responsibilities. After 20+ years working in the tech industry in recruiting, Emily took time away from the business world to focus on her family and her passion for animal welfare. In addition to her communication role, Emily manages the GRRAND email account, processes adoption applications and helps out where she can. Outside of GRRAND, Emily is a mom to 2 young boys, has recently become pickleball-obsessed and does fractional recruiting consulting work. She has been a dog lover since she was little, bringing home strays often — much to her parents’ chagrin. And while her children have been too small to bring a dog into their family just yet, she plans on welcoming a pup into their home in the spring.
