Anne Jay, Secretary, became involved with GRRAND in June of 2023 after reading an enticing volunteer job posting from GRRAND and having watched her sister in action for years as a GRRAND foster.  Transitioning from teaching middle school students and facing an empty nest at the time, serving as GRRAND’s Transportation Coordinator was a perfect fit to find.  For over a year, Anne has greatly enjoyed working with the dogs and humans involved in rescue.  There is nothing better than spending time driving dogs to their new lives.  She is excited to add the role of Secretary on the GRRAND Board starting in October 2024.

Anne’s beloved dog, Louie Lando, is not a GRRAND dog but was a “free to good home dog” six years ago.  Louie greatly appreciates access to GRRAND’s swimming pool as a doggie daycare and boarding participant at TPSCC next door to GRRAND.
