President, Nina Scott became involved with GRRAND shortly after adopting her first golden, Nikki, in 2007.  She started volunteering as a dog walker and over the years became more involved in other areas, such as phone coordinator, application coordinator before eventually joining the board in 2016.   Since adopting her first golden in 2007, Nina has also adopted 3 more goldens from GRRAND over the years along with a Newfoundland.  Nina is originally from the Chicago, IL area and moved to Louisville in 2001 to attend the University of Louisville as a scholarship athlete for the Varsity Women’s Basketball Team.  She is currently CEO of DS Research and enjoys traveling, playing tennis and spending time with family.  Nina has served as president of the GRRAND board since 2018.
