Treasurer and Finance Coordinator, Karsen Thornton has been an active GRRAND volunteer since 2020, serving in roles that include application screening, Socialization Team Coordinator, Foster Coordinator, and member of the Tails newsletter team. In May 2025, she joined the Board as Treasurer. A CPA with an MBA and the ABV credential, Karsen brings a strong background in finance, accounting, and mergers & acquisitions to GRRAND’s leadership.

An avid dog lover with two dogs of her own, Karsen is passionate about helping every GRRAND dog find a safe and loving home. Outside of GRRAND, she operates her fitness studio, Pvolve Louisville St. Matthews, and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
