Sonya was found in her owner’s home, after the owner had passed away. Her intake exam in August revealed several mammary tumors and advanced dental disease. Of the tumors removed, one was an osteosarcoma. These tumors can be highly aggressive. Due to this prognosis, her age, and other medical issues, it was decided to keep her as comfortable as possible.
Sonya’s foster mom kept a very close eye on her, giving her the best life she could have for the rest of her days. We’re so thankful to her for keeping Sonya comfortable and happy. Please keep her in your thoughts as she grieves this sweet little girl.
