ADOPTED!!!!
Poor Sammy was turned in to GRRAND at the age of 14 because he has mild seizures and is partially blind. His pawnails were especially long and neglected and he needed some other medical care too. He is now in a foster home, and THRIVING!!! He is completely and totally handsome and this super sweet senior looking for his forever family. Here is an update from his foster mommy…

If you’re looking for your best friend, Sampson is your dog!

He is a healthy, 14 year old, Golden. Sammy was brought to us after being in the same home, all his life, after his owner developed an allergy. Sampson came to us with a known seizure disorder. But after much TLC, in his foster home, he has been seizure- free for more than a month and is no longer on anti-seizure medication!!!

Sammy is hard of hearing and visually impaired. However, he follows directions, and commands, very well. He does well with stairs, and loves going on walks!

Because of his surrender, and physical limitations, he has a strong fear of abandonment. Sam would do best with someone that is okay with having the typical Golden shadow. He loves nothing more than being with his people. Sammy is perfect with all other animals, with humans, and children, of any age. He has a very gentle soul.

Sampson will be the cuddliest best friend you’ve ever had!!
