Maya-and-Lilly Adopted!

Age:7 years
Intake date:1/13/2020

Maya and Lilly are 7-year old very bonded Golden littermates. These girls lost their home when their owners both died within a short time of each other. They are now living with the owner’s son, but he is unable to keep the dogs over time. These girls are house and crate trained and trained to an invisible fence. They are trustworthy indoors when left alone for short periods of time, but they are usually crated during the day. These sweeties are also leash trained, although Lilly can reportedly pull on a leash at times. Maya has some arthritis and is taking medications for this and Lilly tends to be anxious at times, particularly during storms, and has a prescription of Trazadone which she may take up to twice daily. Lilly is good with other dogs, but Maya can be a bit testy with other dogs at times so it is best they go to a home with no other dogs.
Maya and Lilly will be incredibly loyal to any family who is willing and able to take them in, provide them with love and care, and be just as much as a source of joy to them as they will be to the family.
