Hi, I’m Copper and I am looking for a home that likes to RUN!!!

Copper was rescued by GRRAND and pulled from a shelter in Eastern Kentucky as he was first on the list for euthanasia. He is a petite, 40lb, Retriever mix. He is a little shy at first, but warms up fast. This little guy is very cute and active and he needs an adoptive family who can work with him. Copper is in a foster home and is looking for his permanent family!!
His foster family says that exercise is the most important part of Copper’s day. He goes on morning runs with his foster daddy and he just loves it, and NEEDS it! It helps him to relax through the day and makes him very happy and keeps him out of trouble. Copper lives with little kids… he is great with the 5 and 7 year old kids, but is a little less tolerant of the 3 year old, as he barks when he gets annoyed by her. Copper is a super sweet little guy just looking for love from a family who is willing to give him the exercise and direction he needs to be a good boy.
Please contact GRRAND.org if interested in meeting Copper!
