This 75 lb big goofball of a love bug is said to be good with kids, though with his size and not knowing his strength, he may not be suitable for small children.
Butterball was surrendered to a shelter because he was supposed to be guarding sheep but had other plans. He seems to be fine with other dogs so far, but we will be evaluating him in regard to small dogs and other small animals.
Butterball has been an outside dog, so he is working on some training, but he is sure to make a great family member with a little time! His new family should be committed to doing training with Butterball as he does not know his own strength and has no manners… he is just a BIG PUPPY after all! They will also need to be committed to giving him the exercise he needs to be a good and tired boy! A GOOD dog is a TIRED dog!
